PERHAPS more than any other year, the support offered by GroceryAid will be critical to many colleagues across the supply chain, from independent retail, to the multiples and throughout the supply chain.

At this year’s Scottish Grocer Awards, GroceryAid Scotland board member – and 2019 Industry Achievement winner – Eddie Lynagh, joined with Scottish Grocer advertising manager Amy Knox for this year’s charity prize draw.

After an inspiring speech from Eddie on the good work and vital resources that GroceryAid can offer industry colleagues, some of this year’s guests got to walk home with enviable prizes.

A fourball spot at GroceryAid’s Gleneagles golf day, two tickets to a Scotland Rugby international, JBL headphones, a year’s supply of Irn-Bru, a case of Edinburgh Gin, £100 of gift vouchers for M&S and a stay at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews were all up for grabs on the night.
