VENISON supplier Highland Game has announced a £150,000 investment package aimed at making its Dundee base coronavirus safe.

Highland Game, which employs more than 80 people, has also created an additional 15 jobs to cope with new shift patterns and social distancing measures.

Euan Ross, sales and marketing manager at Highland Game, said that due to coronavirus badly affecting hotels and restaurants across Europe, the firm has lost “a large tranche of our market.”

“Our focus is now entirely on retail where we continue to see year-on-year growth in excess of 15%,” he said.
