Record decade

Nichols looks to build on Vimto success with range extension in time for summer

Vimto Remix
The Vimto Remix range has a new flavour.

TEN consecutive years of success has led to a record high value of £90.3m for Vimto.

That’s the view of brand owner Nichols Plc, with the firm pointing to Nielsen figures which show not only that Vimto is closing in on the £100m mark but that within that figure, the Remix sub-brand is now worth £9.2m as part of total brand sales.

In a bid to continue building on that growth, the Vimto Remix squash range has been expanded with the launch of a new flavour: Orange, Strawberry & Lime.

Vimto senior brand manager, Becky Unwin, said: “In terms of flavour popularity, orange is second only to cola, so it made total sense to further strengthen our Remix range with a zesty new variant.

“However, it’s orange with a tasty twist.”

The new flavour is available in all formats, including dilute.

A 2L fizzy version is available in  £1 PMP and a plain pack; the 500ml fizzy comes in a £1 PMP; the 500ml still is packed £1 PMP plain bottles; and the dilute version is available in a 1L unmarked bottle.

Unwin added: “Launching just as the weather starts to warm up, we’re confident Vimto Remix Orange, Strawberry and Lime will be flying off the shelves this summer.”

Orange, Strawberry & Lime joins Mango, Strawberry & Pineapple, Watermelon, Strawberry & Peach and Raspberry, Orange and Passionfruit in the Vimto Remix range.
