A ginspiring new wine

FEW drinks say ‘summer’ quite like a cold glass of rosé wine in the sunshine.

But with gin continuing its unstoppable growth, combining rosé and gin should be a recipe for success as we move into the summer months.

That is exactly what Accolade Wines has created with its latest NPD: Echo Falls Rosé Wine & Spirit Fusion.

The new release, made by blending the brand’s popular rosé wine with a gin infusion and summer fruit flavours, has an ABV of 9%.

Its release follows the successful launch of Echo Falls Summer Berries Vodka last year, with the parent firm Accolade Wines promising that it “listened to its consumers” while creating the new ready-to-drink offer.

David White, marketing director at Accolade Wines, said:     “Echo Falls is once again bringing a new and innovative flavour experience to market.

“This spirit infused wine is a unique style which combines all of Echo Falls’ much-loved qualities with the latest drinks trends; creating an exciting new sales opportunity for the trade with a product that both existing and loyal consumers will love.

“Our sweeter styled fruit fusion appeals to those who like the idea of wine but can find the taste challenging.

“We are confident that the new spirit fusion enhances the Echo Falls portfolio and also offers a new drinking occasion to those who enjoy gin.”

Echo Falls Rosé Wine & Spirit Fusion is available now for Nisa and Co-op retailers, with an RRP of £5 per bottle.
