VEGANS and vegetarians have some new lunch options to choose from, after snack firm Bol launched the latest addition to its Veg Pot range.

The new Coconut Curry Veg Pot combines rice, red lentils, green beans and beetroot with a creamy coconut sauce.

It gives consumers two of their five-a-day as well as 11g of protein, and contains less than 400 calories per pot.

The health brand has recently become fully vegan, after ditching dairy from their range in June.

Bol claims to be the UK’s first FMCG brand to become 100% plant-based, and will be hoping to capitalise on the growing popularity of veganism.

The Keralan Coconut Curry Veg Pot has a RRP of £3.
