INDUSTRY stalwart Neil McNicol has passed away.
Neil served Scotland’s retail sector for over four decades in various roles at field sales firm McCurrach.
In 1993, Neil took over as the firm’s chief executive and later took on the role of company chairman
Neil served as a McCurrach board member in recent years.
In a statement, McCurrach chief executive Angus Maciver said: “No words can adequately express our sadness at Neil’s death. We know he will be truly missed by many.
“It was Neil’s vision that transformed a small Scottish company into the largest UK field sales company of its type.”
Neil is survived by his wife Marion and their four children.
