Morrisons is on a veg push

MORRISONS has launched an all-British veg box offering eight different seasonal vegetables for £5.

The supermarket says its veg box is the cheapest of its kind, with equivalent loose vegetables averaging £6.14 across the big four.

Shoppers purchasing through Morrisons online can also pick up a £3 wonky veg box containing misshapen veg with some potentially from overseas.

Morrisons buyer Andy Todd said the boxes are “a great way for our customers to buy British or  eat seasonally or feed the family for the week”.
