Veggie chips

AUNT Bessie’s is tapping into the healthier eating trend with the launch of new frozen vegetable chips.

Packs of Aunt Bessie’s Vegetable Chips contain parsnips, carrots and sweet potatoes cut into a chip shape, available at an RRP of £2.50.

Each suggested portion of Vegetable Chips is said to contain one of the recommended five servings of vegetables per day.

Lorraine Rothwell, marketing director at Aunt Bessie’s, said: “As a nation, we are more aware than ever of the importance of fitting in our five day portions of fruit and vegetables. We know how much the UK loves its chips and we wanted to bring them a worthy substitute that would still look good on their plate and taste great, but with the added benefit of being one of your five a day.”
