ANDY Higginson, chairman of Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc, has been appointed as president of GroceryAid, the grocery industry charity, effective from 1 July.
GroceryAid has also appointed a new vice president, with Charles Wilson, chief executive of Booker Ltd, taking up the post.
Higginson and Wilson will build on the legacy of outgoing president Andrew Moore, chief merchandising officer for Asda.
