Meating demand

MEAT snack brand Moy Park has secured listings in Nisa and McColl’s stores across Scotland for its Good to Go branded ready-to-eat snacking range.

Moy Park said it developed the range to address changes in consumer eating habits, responding to demand for nutritious snacks in a convenient format.

The Good to Go range is made up of four flavours, two of which pair Moy Park chicken breast fillet chunks with either BBQ or chilli dip, and two flavoured chicken breast options – flame grilled or piri piri.
Moy Park marketing manager Aisling Graham said the firm recognises the importance of keeping NPD in line with consumer trends.

“Consumer priorities for 2017 are focused on convenience and health – and this has translated into the snacking market.

“The range is individually portioned, and high in protein – making it an ideal option for snacking throughout the day.

“In a competitive market place, we’ve designed the packaging to ensure maximum shelf impact in the food to go fixtures, using bright colours and unique branding to engage consumers.”
