Coppenrath and Wiese has launched three new frozen cheesecakes including Lemon and Lime and Millionaires varieties.

AS the days get longer and the evenings get warmer through spring and into summer, consumers’ dessert choices will change from traditional hot favourites to lighter and fruitier alternatives that are easy
to prepare, says frozen dessert firm Coppenrath and Wiese.

Cheesecakes account for 23% category share in Scotland are seeing an increase in spend.

And it has added three new products to its frozen cheesecake range for 2017.
A spokesperson said: “Family celebrations, BBQs or simply the evening meal are perfect times to indulge anyone’s sweet tooth.

“Cheesecakes account for 23% category share in Scotland and are currently on trend seeing an increase in spend as a direct result of 4.8% more buyers shopping the category.”

The spokesperson said that according to Kantar 9.7% of Scottish households purchased within the four weeks to the end of February and added that more and more retailers are now featuring frozen desserts as part of a meal deal.

The new cheesecake flavours are: Lemon and Lime, New York and Millionaires.
