THE distillery behind Scottish gin brand Rock Rose has released its first seasonal spirit of 2017, with a focus on local botanicals.
Launched today (March 13), the latest release from Dunnet Bay Distillery features a selection of hand-foraged botanicals including gorse flowers, coltsfoot from the distillery gardens and dandelion.
Available from wholesalers and distributors Instil Drinks as well as Gordon MacPhail, The Spring Edition is packaged in a ceramic bottle reminiscent of the core Rock Rose Gin.
Martin Murray co-founder of Dunnet Bay Distillery said last year’s seasonal editions (pictured) proved to be a “sell-out success” leading to the distillery doubling its production.
“This is a new offering for Spring, including a fresh look for our ceramic bottle, which we believe will have great stand-out on bar and retail shelves alike,” said Murray.
