CELEBRATING its 70th anniversary this year, Marigold says that 75% of all Britons still claim to do an annual spring clean and that 77% of households say they have a deep clean at least once a season.
And, to celebrate the anniversary, it will be running a campaign including online, traditional media and an on-pack free gift promotion for the spring clean season.
Shopper product manager Laura Burrows said: “Marigold has been synonymous with cleaning since first launching in the UK 70 years ago.
“The past year has seen us not only expand within the gloves category to offer a glove suitable for every household job, but we have also extended the range, launching an innovative new range of 11 high-quality cloths and scourers, for a wide range of tasks around the home.”
And to take advantage of the seasonal demand for cleaning products Marigold recommends making best-selling products visible in store to capture customer attention.
Burrows concluded: “People have busy lifestyles and they want products they can trust, which minimise the effort needed to tackle household chores.”
