The right tea all day long

Yorkshire-Tea-Packshot-Aug-16THE right cuppa at the right time of day is the promise from Yorkshire Tea as it launches its latest range.

It says Breakfast Brew, Breaktime Brew and Bedtime Brew have been developed to respond to demand it reckons isn’t currently met by black tea and and will address a trend that sees consumers switching to more specialised teas.

Yorkshire describes Breakfast Brew as rich and strong with extra Assam.

Breaktime Brew is described as vibrant with the flavour of orange and lemon.

And it says Bedtime Brew is warming, gently decaffeinated and blended with lemon balm and nutmeg.

Assistant brand manager Beccie Deighton said the company had drawn on consumer insight to develop the new range and added: “While black tea consumption continues to be huge, consumers are increasingly expanding their hot drinks repertoires to meet specific needs that are currently unfulfilled by black tea.

“Our speciality brews have been specially created with these needs in mind, offering consumers a new and exciting black tea proposition and ensuring they can enjoy a proper brew whatever the time of day.”

She added that speciality black tea is growing, with market penetration up by 4.7% in the past year.

Each variety has an RRP of £2.29 per pack.
