Duncans-Village-Store-Kames

AN award-winning Scottish store, in one of the most picturesque parts of the country, has new owners.
Duncan’s Village Store, a previous Scottish Grocer Neighbourhood Store of the Year, in Kames, near Tighnabruaich on the Kyles of Bute in Argyll, was sold on behalf of Bryan and Kirsty Duncan by the Glasgow office of commercial property agent Cornerstone.
The store was sold to Andy and Sab Mathur, and Cornerstone director David Higgins said the new owners were “looking forward to continuing this excellent business whilst potentially offering additional services.
“Not only does the business have an excellent reputation, it is also a focal point for the local community,” he added.
