FIRELIGHTER manufacturer Standard Brands has introduced a range of Zip PMPs.
Zip High Energy Performance Block 20s are now available in a £1.79 PMP and Zip Wrapped 16s come in a £2.69 pack.
Commercial director at SHS which looks after sales, marketing and distribution for Zip, Andrew Freestone said: “Representing excellent value for money and coming in shelf-ready packaging the packs also come in reduced case sizes to help retailers minimise stock holding.”
He explained that Zip High Energy Performance Block 20s come in a case count of 12 with Zip Wrapped available in a pack size of six. “There will also be wholesaler and in-depot support programmes,” he said.
Standard Brands says that more than half of all firelighter products bought in the UK are from the Zip range.
Freestone said: “Within the convenience channel alone, the Zip brand delivers over £3m in sales.
“By offering a PMP option retailers are building trust and confidence.”
