Ireland’s number one poultry brand Moy Park has joined key players in the GB convenience sector, – supplying a diverse range of Moy Park branded products to retailers.
This year has seen Moy Park grow and develop its offering to break into the convenience sector – in particular, through the development of its ‘Good Kitchen’ and ‘Good-to-Go’ ranges as an addition to its core primary and breaded lines.
Moy Park’s Good Kitchen range which was developed in response to consumer demand for added value chicken products offers consumers pre prepared chicken products, which include: three ‘ready to cook’ flavour infused chicken breast products – Garlic & Herbs; Ginger, Lime & Coriander and Pesto & Sunflower Seeds. Also produced under the Moy Park ‘Good Kitchen’ brand is the company’s roast in the bag chicken products. The shelf-to-oven whole chicken is the first to use cutting edge thermoformed packaging technology. The state of the art packaging is a printed, sealed pack that can go straight into the oven. The roast in the bag whole chickens come in two flavours ‘Extra Tasty’ and ‘Garlic & Herb’.
As a Good Kitchen range extension,’ Moy Park has created a range of BBQ products, delivering another option in the added value fresh primary market. Using locally sourced chicken and flavoured with mouth-watering marinades, Moy Park’s Good Kitchen BBQ range includes Sweet Chilli Chicken Thighs and Smoky BBQ Chicken Drumsticks.
To target the food-to-go category, Moy Park developed the ‘Good to Go’ range which has further widened its offering in the convenience sector. The versatile ‘Good to Go’ range offers consumers deli-inspired chicken dishes. The award winning range includes, Mexican style Chicken Koftas and two Chicken ‘N’ Dip products with Caribbean and ketchup style dips.
