NAIRN’S has launched a range of space-themed low-sugar children’s biscuits called Astro Bites.

The new biscuits are said to contain 40% less sugar than similar biscuits in the everyday-premium category.
Nairn’s has also updated the packaging on its Oat Biscuit range to say it contains 40% less sugar than competitors.
“Sugar is beginning to be seen as an enemy, and we want to educate consumers about reducing sugar in their diets,” said Lucy White, Nairn’s marketing director.
“Nairn’s products have always contained up to 40% less sugar. We want people to know that they can lower their sugar intake without needing to cut out favourite foods.”
