City to host the craft

GLASGOW’S new Drygate brewery is hosting the Craft Beer Rising festival at its city headquarters next month, the first time the event has been held in Scotland.

Offering a blend of craft beer, street food and music, it will take place 19-21 September 2014. More than 3,000 enthusiasts are expected to attend.
Visitors will have the chance to try 200 beers from 45 Scottish and many international breweries, including Tempest Brew Co, Siren, Beavertown, Thistly Cross Cider, Pilot Brew Co and Harbour.
Talks and demonstrations – such as live brewing – are also planned.
