SYMBOL group Spar is continuing its programme to recruit forecourt businesses across the UK with a specialised package that includes Spar-branded fuel.
The first of a new generation of Spar-branded forecourts in the UK opened in 2013 following the development of the concept by Spar and Harvest Energy. The sites feature Spar branding on the canopy, pumps, pole sign and shop fascia.
A key component of the new deal is cross promotions with activity that links shop sales to immediate reductions in fuel price.
Spar says the first site achieved a 32% increase in fuel volume sales and a 20% uplift in shop sales.
