CHILDREN, cancer patients and the elderly were the latest groups to benefit from Nisa generosity when the wholesaler and symbol group organiser’s Making A Difference Locally charity donated £75,000 to Age UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and Action For Children, at the dinner held during its annual trade exhibition at Stoneleigh Park recently.
Simon Webster, board member of Nisa’s Making A Difference Locally (MADL) organisation, said: “As a company we understand how important it is to give back to the community and we can do this through our registered charity MADL. We know the funds donated to the charities will be fully utilised to enable those less fortunate to benefit.”
And for the first time in Nisa’s history, around 269 suppliers attending the Stoneleigh exhibition donated 3.73 tonnes of stock to The Trussell Trust charity which co-ordinates food banks across the UK.
