Scots athletes look for more

BARR bottled-water brand Strathmore is supporting a team of Scottish athletes ahead of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

And the brand-owner hopes swimmer Robbie Renwick, Paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg and gymnast Dan Keatings will inspire consumers to ‘do more’ and get active in the run up to the Games.
The campaign will run across social media and feature on Commonwealth Games-linked Strathmore packs in the run up to the global sporting event.
As part of the sponsorship and inspiration project, the three athletes will feature in a short film about their journey to the 2014 Games.
Adrian Troy, head of marketing for AG Barr, said: “Team Strathmore is made up of some of the country’s most promising athletes and we are proud to support them through their journey.
“Retailers should ensure they include this must-stock brand on their fixture to maximise the Commonwealth Games profit opportunity.”
