Hit the chains says Nescafé

C-STORES should be competing with the cafe chains and offering their customers great coffee to take away. That’s the view from Lynn Little from Nestlé Professional.

Nescafé“The coffee shop experience is no longer limited to the coffee shop and today’s consumers have come to expect a quality beverage offer wherever they are, at whatever time of the day,” she said.
“Some 290m coffee opportunities are lost in the out-of-home market each year due to lack of consumer convenience. For forecourts, convenience stores and post offices, on-the-go coffee is an opportunity not to be sniffed at,”
She says the company’s Nescafé & Go system could bring in £6,336 a year. “With minimal outlay and set up costs, it is a quick, clean and convenient standalone machine. Now really is the time for grocery stores to get moving and cash in on coffee.”
