THE first Scottish filling station to feature Spar-branded fuel is due to open later this month.
Mark Steven, Spar UK business development controller said: “Our first Scottish site is due to open in Maybole, Ayrshire in late February.
“In 2013 we introduced Spar-branded fuel. This exciting proposition provides retailers with entire Spar branding for their sites. Crisp, modern branding removes the typical confusion consumers have with duel branding.
“A key component of this new deal is cross promotions, linking shop sales to immediate reductions in fuel price. Our first site has achieved an incredible 30% uplift in fuel volume and 20% uplift in shop sales!”
