THE first Scottish store running under Booker’s new discount fascia Family Shopper has opened on Main Street in High Blantyre, in Lanarkshire.
Owned by Shahid Razzaq, who also has the award-winning Mo’s Premier store in nearby Blantyre, the unit opened on 15 November.
Shahid said: “It’s been fantastic. Sales have been good, we’ve already had lots of business and the customers are raving about it.
“The bakery lines have been doing exceptionally well, we’re very pleased.”
