A perfectly preserved bottle from the 1920s has inspired Hankey Bannister whisky to recreate the flavour in its new Heritage Blend.

A perfectly preserved bottle from the 1920s has inspired Hankey Bannister whisky to recreate the flavour in its new Heritage Blend.

The bottle was bought at auction for the company archive. But when it was found to be in perfect condition for drinking, Hankey Bannister’s master blender Stuart Harvey was inspired to reproduce it. The result is a premium blended version for today’s whisky drinker, the firm says.
Bottled at 46% ABV, there will be 5,000 cases available. RRP is £26.99 for 70cl.
