DISTILLER Arbikie has launched a new gin with a family connection.
AK’s Gin is named after Alexander Kirkwood Stirling, the father of Arbikie owners Iain, John and David.
Distillery manager Christian Perez said: “We chose our Viscount wheat because it gives a beautiful, buttery character.
“AK’s lends itself to a great gin and tonic.”
Director John Stirling added that with wild bees under threat Arbikie plans to install its own hives to continue to produce its own fresh honey.
