More free choice

GLUTEN-free biscuit brand Prewett’s has added milk-free, all-butter and individually wrapped chocolate biscuit ranges to its portfolio.

David Wood, business director of brand owner Northumbrian Fine Foods, said: “The milk and gluten-free range which contains everyday favourites such as Choc Chip and Digestive is targeting the 40% of free-from category consumers who require milk/dairy-free products.

“The all-butter cookies will appeal to those wanting an indulgent snack and the chocolate biscuit bar will deliver a tasty option for gluten-free consumers seeking a lunch box or handbag snack.”

He said NFF expects the new ranges to appeal to a broad spectrum of consumers.
