NFRN says age limit supports retailers

THE National Federation of Retail Newsagents has backed calls to bring in age restrictions on the sale of e-cigarettes
The NFRN has lent its support to MSP John Mason’s motion titled ‘The Alcopops of the Nicotine World’, which calls on the Scottish Parliament to introduce tougher regulations on the sale of e-cigarettes to ensure children cannot access them.
NFRN national president Martyn Brown commented: “As responsible retailers, the NFRN supports age restrictions as a primary measure to prevent usages by children.
“We already recommend to our members not to sell e-cigarettes to children, but we want to see the devolved government follow Westminster’s lead and introduce age restrictions to help support retailers’ actions.”
