SPECIALIST provider Novus Tea reckons it’s one of only a few companies in the UK that can deliver premium leaf tea to a wide variety of outlets in a range of formats. The firm argues its products allow retailers to realise the commercial potential of premium teas and herbal infusions.
The firm’s tea is available in three styles: as whole-leaf tea in pyramid teabags in individual envelopes; as whole-leaf teas in pyramid bags in resealable pouches in two sizes; and as loose-leaf tea. Novus’s teas have won 12 Great Taste awards.
One of the latest in the Novus range is its White Pear and Ginger, which has won a Great Taste gold award and is now available in pyramid teabags or as loose-leaf tea.
The silver needle white tea, from Fujian, China, is hand-plucked (two leaves and a new bud) on only two mornings each year, so there are very limited quantities available worldwide.
The firm says it’s the first time that such exclusive tea has been made available in teabags.
