COULD you be next to have a discounter on the doorstep? Aldi has named dozens of areas in Scotland in which it wants to open new stores.
On the property section of its corporate website, the discounter says it is “open to offers” about sites in: Aberdeen (north and south), Arbroath, Ayr, Bearsden, Coatbridge, Crieff, Cumbernauld, Dumbarton, Dumfries (north), Dundee (south), East Kilbride (north and east), Edinburgh (all areas), Falkirk (east), Glasgow (all areas), Helensburgh, Jedburgh, Kirkintilloch, Milngavie, Peebles, and Perth (north and south).
