Mahmood ready to drive daily bread

EDINBURGH retailer Mahmood Shahid, of the city’s Niddrie Bargain Stores, got some new wheels when Allied Bakeries revealed he was the winner of its Kingsmill Great White Van competition.

The firm launched the UK-wide competition to mark the launch of Kingsmill Great White and to highlight how important it is for independent retailers to be able collect fresh produce, especially bread, on a daily basis.
The firm says Kingsmill Great White has been the most successful new product launch in food FMCG in 2014 to date.
