PERTH-based independent craft brewer Inveralmond Brewery, has agreed distribution deals with The Co-operative and Spar which will see its signature brand Ossian available in hundreds of retail outlets across Scotland.
Award-winning Ossian was CAMRA’s Supreme Champion Beer of Scotland and Champion Golden Ale of Scotland.
The Co-operative is the UK’s largest mutual business, operating 4,500 retail outlets across the UK, and Spar has 2,400 stores in its UK portfolio. Bob Hogg, commercial director of Inveralmond Brewery, said: “We are absolutely delighted that the Co-operative and Spar have decided to stock Ossian. This is likely to extend our reach to new customers and enhance the popularity of one of Scotland’s most popular craft beers.”
